Hello, I have an HP photosmart 4200 printer (I think it's 4200) and I bought some compatible and refillable cartridges. The problem came up a while after using them, giving me a message that they are not compatible and won't let me print. I don't know what to do. The HP ones are very expensive and my daughter prints a lot of assignments:rollani:. How can I fix this??
Thanks,

If you print a lot, the best option is a laser printer :sisi:
If you don't want to invest in one, you can always go to a copy shop with what you want to print.

There are also economical ink printers like the low-end HP officejet that have a cost per page on the original cartridge much better than that photosmart. And you can always refill the original cartridges, although I think they now also prevent that, but you have nothing to lose by trying, that's what I used to do years ago.
