Bueno jugones, dejaros 5 minutos Diablo y echadme una mano. A lo largo de este mes voy a ir comprando las piezas para montarme un pc nuevo para jugar (Diablo 3, BF3, Deus Ex, Max Payne…) y quiero que me comenteis que os parece la configuración que tengo en mente. El presupuesto no es cerrado, estoy abierto a cambios y sugerencias pero tampoco quiero gastarme 2000eur y no necesito jugar a todo en ultra. Os pongo la confi con links de amazon que es dnd lo voy a comprar todo, y el precio lo dejo en dolares que es como lo pagare:

Micro:
Un Ivy, no voy a hacer OC. i5 3550 3.3 gh por 210$

Placa Base:
Me ha dado muchos quebraderos de cabeza. No quiero una GB pq tienen problemas con el sonido, mejor una Asus, he pensado en esta P8Z77-v por 185$. Que os parece? La LX o LE son mas baratas pero necesito que tenga wifi. Aqui necesito vuestra sabiduría, me gustaria gastarme alrededor de 150$ en la MB pero no se si es posible. Ayuda please!

Memos:
GSkill Vengeanze DDR3 1600Mhz 2x4Gb por 48$ Pensaba meterle 16gb pero creo que a día de hoy no es necesario.

GPU:
He pensado una saphire HD 6850 1Ghz por 150$. La tenéis muchos foreros y todo lo que leo de ella es bueno. Quizás podría estirarme hasta una 6950 pero he leído que las 6850 son geniales para crossfire y quizás en el futuro pueda meterle otra. Además es buena, bonita y barata con un rendimiento excepcional a día de hoy. ¿Qué pensáis?

Siempre me han gustado las cooler master, pero quería una modular y después de espiaros las firmas he encontrado esta OCZ modXtream 700W por 80$. ¿Qué os parece?

Caja:
Estoy entre la antec 900 y la antec 1100. Ambas están a 99$. La 1100 me parece más pro. Me he enamorado tb de esta corsair Obsidian pero ya son 150$, creo que iré a por la antec1100 que tiene una pinta estupenda.

HD le pondré un caviar black de 1tb que está a 100$ y una grabadora de DVD normalita y ya está.

Estoy abierto a críticas, cambios y sugerencias que ronden alrededor de estos precios (el prsupuesto que he puesto aquí es de unos 1000$) o un poco más quizás. Antes de comprar nada quiero escuchar vuestras opiniones para no cargarla. Recordad que el pc es básicamente para jugar

If it's not a problem, I would consider putting a 128 Gb SSD or better yet two 64 Gb SSDs (a bit more expensive, of course) for the OS, pagefile and, depending on criteria, a favorite game.

Have you looked at Lian-Li for cases?

If I've looked at the lianli, I know they're good but the aesthetics don't quite convince me and they're more expensive

Personally, I like the Corsair TX750 v2, but of course they are a bit more expensive. However, they have a very good warranty.

I am also a fan of LianLi and Corsair, there are cheaper Corsair ones with good quality but before that, Corsair memory is a good option, not GSkill, I thought it was a new plagiarized model, have you considered putting a 2500k instead of an Ivy, it's probably more economical and will give you very good performance, don't forget a decent cooler, I have the power supply in the second PC, good price and quality, it has turned out very good.

But have you looked at the cases I posted? The Corsair Obsidian and the Antec 1100 have an excellent design, it seems like you're sponsored by Lian Li XD. Anyway, I'll take another look at them.

I agree about the PSU, I think I'll invest in the Corsair even if it's a bit more expensive

Techno, you're right about the RAM, it's Corsair XD
The 2500k doesn't interest me because I'm not going to do OC, the price difference isn't that big and looking at the comparisons, the Ivy's give a slightly better performance

Help me with the motherboard and the GPU, please, that's the most important thing and you're not saying anything

The gpu for 170 would smell this one and it will perform perfectly for you

It will work for your Ivy and supports crossfire

I like the Nidia better right now but you can try a 6870 and they perform very well but as always the drivers also have something to do with it but for the money I would get that one and if you add another one in a while then a plane already.

By the way the corsair power supply is not modular, the modular one ends in M, this is it.

Techno thanks for the reply. I had already set my eyes on that 6870. Do you think it's worth the change?
The card you mentioned was my first option but according to the specs I saw it doesn't have wifi connectivity and I need it because it's the only way to connect to the internet here

I would stick with the ASRock Z77 Extreme4 (it costs around 130€, 150$ and you can find it cheaper saving 20-30€) or the MSI Z77A-G55 (around 150€, 180$) which are very complete, good OC capability if you're up for it and very good quality, without being from Gigabyte. And for the case, I would also encourage you to go for a LianLi or a Corsair

Thanks to everyone, especially for the motherboard recommendations, which is what I was most worried about. I think I'll go for the Asrock and if it doesn't have wifi I'll buy the card that techno recommended.

Techno, I know newegg and I've been looking there too, the prices are similar to amazon. The only problem is that they send it to you by UPS and you have to be home to pick it up. With amazon they leave it at your door whether you're there or not. I already know what you're thinking, that they can steal things that way, but everyone does it this way and it's very safe.

There's also a microcenter next to my house. They have unbeatable prices (the HD 6870 at $160) but the comments I see on the internet about after-sales service and other things are not very good. Anyway, maybe I'll go by and take a look at what they have there.

I'm giving you a quick update on what I've already bought to make you jealous and to accept any suggestions you may have. In the end, I went all out XD

At the Boston microcenter, which as I told you has very good deals, I got a i5 3570K and the asrock extreme4 z77 for 290$ :ugly: do the math and see if you think it's as good a deal as I do. At the same store, I got a Corsair TX 850 PSU, of course modular, for 160$ (also on sale)

With what I saved, I got the Crucial M4 SSD ;D

Now the best part, on newegg I found, and bought, this Shaphire HD 6950 2GB OC edition for…200$!!! But the best part is that it comes with Dirt3 and BF3!!!!! I think it's an unbeatable deal, what do you think? I saw that Neptunno had it in his signature and with how much of a gamer he is, I can't go wrong with getting the same card ;D

As for the rest of the components, they are on the way: 8 gb of Corsair Vengeance Black bought on Amazon and I'm still undecided between the Corsair Obsidian and the Antec 1100 case :fumeta:

well, I'll keep you posted when everything arrives, how the build goes, and of course I'll turn to HL for help. In the end, I think it will be a pretty cool machine

Well the prices are good, which is being handled here since the dollar to euro conversion is disgusting here, that graph here is around that price but I have not seen it with those games, I think I would have also opted for it at that price.
The box I think if you get the corsair you won't regret it, and remember to put a decent heatsink on that micro.

I think the choice of the case is the correct.La Corsair is a luxury case.

The price/component ratio is not bad and you also get a couple of games :fuckyea:.
