Strange problem with Sapphire HD6870
-
Hello, I bought an hd6870 from amazon 5 days ago ( 404 - Document not found ).
My computer is an e8400 3ghz, 4gb ram 800, asus p5q pro motherboard and tacens radix 2 520W power supply.
I play at 1280x1024, and I've tried battlefield 3, sleeping dogs, mw3 and they run pretty well with everything maxed out.
The problem is that I've also tried pes2012 and the demo of fifa13 and these two often freeze the image, like it's not fluid and it's stuttering, even though fraps shows that they run at 60fps all the time, the feeling is that it freezes every now and then and it's stuttering, and it becomes quite annoying :S
And I'm very surprised because with the previous graphics card which was an 8800gt I've never had any problems with pes2012, it's always run perfect in high.
P.D: I have the latest catalysts. -
With the ever-present possibility that the graphics card has some kind of problem, by the way, is it new or second-hand?, you will probably also notice the transition from DX10 to DX11 graphics.
Salu2!

The graphics are new, from amazon, it's just that it's very strange because it goes to 60 fps but with the feeling that it goes to 20fps, that in pes and fifa, because after I play bf3 and sleeping dogs without problems

Try to remove the Vertical Synchronization (Vert Sync).

I have already tried with and without, and the same thing happens, what a strange thing indeed ;S, will it have something to do with the resolution? or what causes a bottleneck in that? I don't even know if I should format or what

If you suspect that the System is corrupt due to tampering or simply because it has been around for a long time, it is a good way to rule out software problems. Of course, downloading the latest drivers is also important. It is not a matter of sending a card in good condition to RMA.
If it were a matter of the CPU, you should also see a drop in FPS. Try to measure with the min/max/avg bench of FRAPS to check the minimums and relax the details if that's the case. If it is online, make sure it is not a matter of connection.
PD: Before formatting, make an image of the System so that you do not end up in the same situation and have to plug everything in again.
