Asus p9x79 or asus p9x79 pro
-
Hello everyone, I'm going to get a PC, I'm going to buy a micro the Intel Core i7-3820 3.60 GHz socker 2011 and I'm on an Asus P9X79 or an Asus P9X79 Pro motherboard. I don't know exactly which one to choose, the P9X79 Pro is a bit more expensive but I don't know if it will be worth choosing the Pro, or buying the more normal P9X79. Which one will be better to choose? Thank you all very much -
To go to a quad I would look at platform 1155 ¿Para qué es el equipo?
-
well I just want to get a good team to be honest I liked it with socker 2011 and I don't exactly know which of the two boards to choose
-
Well, then you can upgrade to an Ivy x6 but, they will be expensive and you are spending money on the x4, which of course you will make back when you sell it. The thing is that an 1155 will perform the same and will be cheaper.
You haven't said what the computer is for, maybe you are not interested in the virtual cores of the i7 and you can still save more money with an i5 1155.

The Pro comes with Bluetooth, SSD Caching, and an additional SATA controller, and the other has Firewire.
With the normal one, more than enough :sisi:
Salu2!

As your friends say, if you go for a quad, it's more profitable to build a good ivy, now if you have extra cash and want to treat yourself like I did, take a look at the asrocks, I like them more than the asus of those models, they are coming out pretty good according to what is being said, the extreme 9 looks good and I think it's cheaper.
Edit:
Have you seen the extreme 11 for the love of deity someone said SATA:ugly:

now what I have bought is a corsair h100 ddr3-2133 ram memory 8 gb total a 750w power supply and right now I have 600 euros for the motherboard and micro and they told me about the asus p9x79 motherboard and the i7-3820 3.60 ghz micro, the truth is that there is so much variety that I don't know which one to choose, just a computer in good condition, I don't mind spending 600 euros on the motherboard and micro. Thanks
-
And the graphic? -
well the graphic will be later, now what matters most to me is the motherboard and the micro
-
With that budget, go for a powerful Ivy, don't think twice about it.
Best regards

Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB GDDR5 - 199 euros or Zotac GeForce GTX 660 2GB GDDR5 - 199 euros
