Sound problems
-
Hello as I said before I have the asus rampage iv extreme motherboard that I just assembled recently, well the issue is that the sound on hdmi works perfectly but on the headphones it acts as if it ignores them and does not detect them, I tried the headphones elsewhere to see if it was not the problem and it turned out that it was not, I have already installed the Audio HD Realtek drivers from the motherboard and still it does not recognize it.
What could be the problem or am I forgetting to connect something? This is to clarify that I have already connected the front panel of the case to the motherboard and I have also tried with the rear connection and still it does not work. Please help

and in the OS how do you have it (sound configuration)

and in the OS how do you have it (sound configuration)
regardsand by default it has the LCD TV HDMI that I have connected as a monitor, I already tried to change the default configuration to the supposed output with which it should work and it doesn't sound anything or recognize that the headset is connected

You will have the connector of the front connectors cable incorrectly placed, or they will be of different standards (HD / AC97).
Salu2!
PD: Put the jumpers back on the pins, as they come from the factory and test the rear connector.

Hello, sorry, which jumpers are you talking about? What I connected was the HD audio pin from the front output to the board, since this board, if I'm not mistaken, only supports that input...

but it is possible that the tower cable is not compatible with the connector of the board as Fassou tells you

regardsIf it is compatible with the cabinet friend. The Cabinet is sentey gs 6500-b and has outputs for AUDIO HD and AC 97

Audio/Mic. HD / AC97 Ports
MotherboardAudio : Realtek
ALC898 7.1-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC -
Well, if it supports both, check that you're using the correct connector, and enter the BIOS, in case you have to specify the standard you will use in it, as happens with some motherboards.
Salu2!
PD: In AC97, there are usually two jumpers, bridging the front connection pins, which are removed when you put the front connector.

In the setup of the board configuration, HD Audio is set by default. I don't think the motherboard is the problem, nor the headphones or the case, so I don't know what else to think it could be.
For the moment, I am not near my PC, but when I am, I will take a picture of the connection so that the audio connection can be seen better. But it should work on the back if the drivers are installed, but even there they don't recognize it...

I still have problems, guys :wall::wall::wall:

if you have HDMI activated, the sound of the equipment does not work, you have to go to Control Panel/sound and put it like this

:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:
What Fassou has tried to make you understand is that your signature CAN NOT exceed 4 lines, and currently it has 8…Asus Rampage IV Extreme
DDR3 1600 MHZ 8GB RAM
ATI HD 7770 Black Edition 1GB
LG 32 LCD
Extra 1TB SATA 3 Hard Drive
Corsair Forge 120GB SSD
Cooler Master TPC 812
Sentey GS-6500 bAll that (which is your signature, in case you still haven't understood it) you must distribute it in 4 lines at most. I even take the trouble to give you an example in case it still doesn't get clear:
Asus Rampage IV Extreme - DDR3 1600 MHZ 8GB RAM
ATI HD 7770 Black Edition 1GB - LG 32 LCD
Extra 1TB SATA 3 Hard Drive - Corsair Forge 120GB SSD
Cooler Master TPC 812 - Sentey GS-6500 bThis way YES Have you understood it?

I think it's pretty clear, but it's to remind you that you accepted some rules, and you are breaking the one about the signature. Fix it, or we will have to do it ourselves, and "reward" you for your neglect.
Oh and I am still waiting for your response Ferelxyx
That, hurry up to answer, that if not this time you also don't pay for the consultation
