Hello How are you?
I am looking for an ATA hard drive for an old PC (Pentium III) and the WD SiliconDrive II PATA seem like a great option. Does anyone know where you can buy one of these here in Spain?
Thanks to all.
Best regards.

And wouldn't it be better for you to get a second-hand IDE hard drive or an IDE to SATA adapter? The adapters are around €5.

You can find PATA drives on any buy/sell forum, have you looked on Ebay..??

Hello, thank you all for your responses!
You see, the problem is that the motherboard of this "PC" does not support disks larger than 32GB. I would have to set the jumper to limit the disk capacity (if it supports it), but the manufacturers do not guarantee correct operation in that case.
The truth is that I would not worry too much about the issue if it were not for the fact that it is the computer of a mixing console: the Mackie d8b. I have got a 20GB PATA HD, but it is still a bit noisy, and I know that there are users of this console who use the WD SiliconDrive II with notable success.
I have looked on eBay and there is something, but everything is in the USA, it seems that around here... none.
Anyway, we will keep looking...
Best regards.
