Opinion with fault diagnosis

Hello friends,
I have a serious problem with my PC... it is unstable and Windows seven does not finish booting or when it does, it freezes when running an application... rarely does it remain stable for a long time.
I have:
- sempron 145 not OC,
- MB Gibabyte AMD 990FXA-UD3,
- two ram modules 8 Gb in total (Corsair),
- HD5450,
- Antec gamer power supply.
First I ruled out that it was the OS for which I reinstalled Windows, the problem persisted so I booted with Ubuntu system, it froze again.
I tested the memory with Memtest86 and memtest86mas, it did not give me any errors.
I took out the memories and tested them separately... I also did not get an error.
I tested the memory of the HD5450 and nothing...
I tested the hard drive where I have Windows installed and 0 errors...
Finally, I used Prime95 with the Small FFTs test which I understand almost does not use memory and stresses the processor, in a few seconds Windows froze. I repeated several times and on one occasion I left the T° sensor open, when the PC froze the T° was only 30°.
I am very confused and complicated, at first glance it seems like it was the processor but the T° is low.... is it possible that a processor fails even at 30°??? please any suggestion or help in diagnosing the problem will be very appreciated!
Salu2,
Jaime

Hello
What does it mean that you tested both the graphics card and the hard drive? I would first try with another graphics card and then with another hard drive, although it looks like it might be something else, but try this.
Then try with another power supply, it has the potential to be the cause.Best regards

You put it on no overclock, I suppose you won't have any unlocked cores? right
Best regards

For anyone who may find it useful,
I have already found the fault, it was the processor, here's how I did it:
- Reinstalling Windows and booting Ubuntu are useful for ruling out a corrupt operating system,
- Clearing CMOS is useful for ruling out a problematic BIOS...
. using HBDC to test the hard drive and the memory of the graphics card, - using MemTest to test the RAM, trying the modules in different slots, swapping them.
I assumed it wasn't the power supply as it was of high enough wattage and had no power issues,
- I discovered it was the processor running Prime95 on the small test, this stresses the CPU but doesn't touch the RAM, result... the PC crashed within a few minutes...
- A confusing symptom was that the temperature was low, at 30°.
To corroborate this, I put another processor in my PC and it worked without problems, I ran Prime95 and nothing...
I hope this helps someone who has the same problem.

It sounds too strange… I've never seen a processor that works "halfway"...
But anyway, if you fixed it I'm glad.Best regards
