Graphic opinion for 1090t
-
Hello everyone, I currently have a 1090t overclocked to about 3.8 GHZ and a Gigabyte 560 ti oc.
With the release of Rome 2 and GTA 5, I want to enjoy them to the fullest, so I would like to know if it would be a good idea to get a gtx 760 or wait for a 760ti to come out or even get a 780.
The thing is, with my micro, I'm not sure if I would take full advantage of them or just keep going and renew the whole team. The problem is that we are always with the same thing, we have to change the motherboard, memory, etc., etc….:wall: -
Welcome to the forum :sisi:
In your case, I would sell the motherboard and micro and switch to the LGA1150 or LGA1155 platform, rather than investing in another graphics card.

I think the same, I have a graphics card like yours and it performs very well, if you want to improve even with a 780 it wouldn't make much sense to put it with a CPU that is already very outdated. Although you don't put anything from the top range you will notice a good change if you switch to a 4-core haswell.

I don't know, between the motherboard, micro, memory, and other graphics, it's over 600 euros... for now I'll hold on like this.
Thanks and goodbye.

I would wait for the games to come out to see how they could render. On youtube people upload many videos of how one or another game goes and it will be easy to find someone with a similar configuration to give an opinion if you have to change the video card or more.
Despite this you have a micro that doesn't perform badly and a nice video card. I have worse hardware and I play what I want because my monitor is 1280*1024 :ugly: but a graphic card like yours moves BF3 in Full HD well ;D, so it's not such a bad team, despite not being modern, especially the micro, which is already a while old.
But don't rush to change anything. When the previous GTA came out it had such high requirements that only the top-of-the-range hardware could move it in Full HD with filters... and honestly there are games much better optimized and better. If a game is poorly optimized, little can be done. Not to mention Crysis 1 which was more of the same when it came out.
