Hello:
I have photos in various formats. 1:1 4:3 3:2 and 16:9 basically. That's what photography is like, the format changes depending on what I photograph, especially if I shoot with the small camera. With the Reflex they all go in the "normal" format.
This gives me a problem when printing photos at a store, as each photo is its own format. I usually use XNview to view photos and make small changes, but I don't know how to use it to convert all of them to the same format :ugly: I can change the size with Shift + S, but I want to change the format.
My question. Can this or another program change a series of photos to the Standard format to be printed at a photo store? And by the way, can the program do this selection so I don't have to do it one by one? I really only want to print a few, about 40 - 50, so I don't mind if I have to do it one by one, so I can see if they look good, but if the program does it automatically and they look good, I'm not too picky.
Basically I want to give my parents photos from the last family gatherings, so they are photos of people, and as long as I don't crop any person, any head etc ;D the photo will look good. I won't retouch any photos, just the format.
Thanks.

There are batch processing programs, but I haven't used them in a long time and I don't know if they will be useful for you specifically, besides the framing may be very random. I would take them as they are and have them printed, some will have more margin than others or else they will be cropped.
