LXDE switches to QT

According to this entry, the LXDE team has decided to abandon GTK2 to switch to QT, the libraries that power KDE.

It is curious that a desktop environment that aims to be lightweight will run on QT, but the developers have thought that it is a better option than GTK3.

We will have to see how this affects performance and appearance. Will it become a simplified KDE?
