Unease Ati 6670
-
Hello, the thing is that I am going to buy the video card but I don't have much budget and the only one that gives me is for an ati 6670 ddr3, so I would like to know if it is better to buy the 1gb or the 2gb one.
Thanks!! -
Hello and welcome, what is your budget?
this is the best option Sapphire Radeon HD 6670 1GB GDDR5

-
Run away from models with DDR3 <:(
I calculate that your budget is ~70€, so I recommend that you save 30€ more to reach a Radeon HD7750 1GB GDDR5.
Salu2!

+1 Even an Ati 7770 is worth less than 100€ if you find it on sale, as it is now in some store, and it doesn't perform badly for the price it has.

I would also advise you to stretch a bit more to reach the HD7750. It performs much better than that HD6670. And as for RAM capacity, for a graphics card like the HD6670, having 2 GB of RAM barely makes a difference compared to 1 GB.

Thanks!!Don't even look at DDR3, it doesn't matter if it has 4GB, they are useless in cards of that performance, it's better to have 1GB of GDDR5 than 4GB of DDR3, I'm talking about performance, with GDDR5 the card performs better, with DDR3 you can have 2GB of useless memory because it doesn't have power, plus it will be more slowed down by the low frequency of DDR3, if the 1GB one is GDDR5, it's much more interesting to you than any with DDR3, even if it has less memory.
for example this one is worse
Gigabyte Radeon HD 6670 2GB GDDR3 GV-R667D3-2GI Graphics Card
than this one, it performs less.
Sapphire Radeon HD 6670 1GB GDDR5 11192-14-20G Graphics Card
that's why it's cheaper with more memory, if you can, this one is better than the ones you mentioned.

I've had a 5770 for several years and it's been great. Remember that the bottleneck for these cards is and will be the memory. If you can, always go for fast gddr5 memory and the 7750 or 7770 chip. You won't be disappointed. And they're already for less than 100€. Even a 5770 or 6770 is fine.
