I will explain a little about my history and the components of my pc. I have an Intel Core i5 2500k @ 3.3 Ghz, mounted on a gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H motherboard with 2x 4 Gb Kingston DDR3 @ 667 MHz RAM, with a Sapphire Radeon 7950 HD 3 Gb graphics card with Boost, this particular one Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 With Boost 3GB GDDR5 11196-19-20G Graphics Card
All this powered by a NOX urano 650w power supply that I considered to be good to be able to move my pc.I recently put the famous Hyper 212 EVO fan on the processor because I thought the temperatures were a bit high. I think I installed it correctly but with the thermal paste issue, being a novice, you never know... and as a data point, if it helps, I have 32-bit Windows 7.
Now comes the problem, before I had a sapphire radeon 6850 HD graphics card that worked quite well for me, but it was starting to be insufficient, I sold it and after a short time I decided on the current one I have, everything was going well, until after a short time of changing the fan (I don't know if it's a coincidence or has something to do with it) the screen started to flicker occasionally, almost always a couple of times, and when starting the computer, just before reaching the desktop, after the loading screen, it shows like a screen with pink lines that lasts a very short time, but which I consider is not normal... Thinking it was a graphics card issue because of the different tests I did... (trying to turn on the computer without the graphics card, with the motherboard's HDMI, changing the resolution... it stopped happening to me...) so I sent it to PCC to have a look at it and today I received the new graphics card, I installed it carefully but I installed it by pressing the button that comes with the graphics card that I think I read that it removed the Boost to maintain a constant frequency... the case is that I swear it has made the screen flashes again and the worst of all is that when I ran some benchmarks (Metro Last Light) and played a little bit, I realized that the temperatures had risen to 96 Degrees, which is absurd, I immediately stopped it and unplugged everything, I left the button as it was and it seems that everything returned to normal in terms of temperature, my fear is that I have burned it or something.
What do you think about the screen flashes and the temperatures of the graphics card, besides I don't know if the performance of this one is normal in games...If any expert in the field could help me, I would be enormously grateful... as I am quite scared because of my lack of knowledge...

If I understand correctly, it gave you problems after changing the heatsink.
Putting or changing a heatsink doesn't have much mystery, the trick is to be calm and follow the steps one by one. Installing it incorrectly is noticed almost immediately, since normally the first thing that is usually done is to look at the temperature in the BIOS as soon as it starts. If the temperature is very high, it is indicative that something we have done wrong, but nothing that can't be solved by dismantling it and installing it again.
The thing about the graphics card may be that when installing it didn't fit well, or that it may have been displaced during some manipulation.
In any case, if as you say the temperatures return to normal, try a benchmark again or just play a game, if no artifacts appear it is that it is fine.Anyway, the expert will be here in a while.

Todo esto alimentado con una Fuente NOX urano 650w que consideré que era buena para poder mover mi pc.Al procesador recientemente le puse el famoso ventilador Hyper 212 EVO ya que las temperaturas creía que eran un poco altas, creo que lo instalé bien pero con el tema de la pasta térmica al ser novato nunca se sabe…y como dato por si sirve de algo tengo el Windows 7 de 32 bits.
Ahora viene el problema, antes tenía una gráfica sapphire radeon 6850 HD que me iba bastante bien, pero se me estaba quedando corta, la vendí y al poco tiempo me decidí por la actual que tengo, todo iba bien, hasta que al poco tiempo de cambiar el ventilador (no sé si es casualidad o tiene algo que ver) la pantalla empezó a parpadear de vez en cuando, casi siempre un par de veces, y al arrancar el ordenador, justo antes de llegar al escritorio, después de la pantalla de carga, pega como un pantallazo como con líneas rosas que dura un muy poco tiempo, pero que yo considero que no es normal…Pensando que era cosa de la gráfica por las diferentes pruebas que hice…(probar encender el ordenador sin la gráfica, con el HDMI de la placa, cambiarle la resolución…dejó de hacérmelo…) así que lo mandé a PCC a que la vieran y hoy me ha llegado la nueva gráfica, la he instalado con precaución pero la instalé pulsándole el botón que trae la gráfica que creo haber leído que le quitaba el Boost para mantener constante la frecuencia… el caso sq los pantallazos juraría que los ha vuelto a hacer y lo peor de todo sq cuando le he pasado unos benchmarks (Metro Last Light) y he jugado un poco al mismo, me he dado cuenta que las temperaturas habían subido a 96 Grados, un disparate, inmediatamente lo he parado y desenchufado todo, dejé el botón como estaba y parece que todo volvió a la normalidad en temas de temperatura, mi temor es haberla quemado o algo.
Que opináis vosotros de los pantallazos y de las temperaturas de la gráfica, además de que tampoco sé si el rendimiento de ésta es normal en los juegos…Si algún experto en el tema pudiera ayudarme le estaría enormemente agradecido…ya que estoy bastante asustado por mi desconocimiento…

Si te han cambiado la grafica, tiene fallos y se calienta tanto posiblemente esa tarjeta este mal, por alcanzar 96º no debe quemarse otra cosa es que se tire meses calentándose tanto y si puede afectar mas, sube el ventilador de revoluciones a ver si asi no se calienta aunque esa temperatura es alta, pero no para quemar la tarjeta en un rato.
tengo yo tarjetas que subían a esa temperatura incluso a mas y tienen años, siguen funcionando perfectamente, lo único que les entra el throttling se baja de frecuencia y pierde rendimiento.Es un modo de seguridad de los CPU o GPU para que no se quemen, pero quizá esa tarjeta tenga algún fallo de fabrica.
