Problem with deepfreeze in win7
-
Hello
I have a serious problem with a computer
The PC has Windows 7 and DEEPFREEZE installed, a 'freezer', a mode to protect the computer against viruses, configuration changes etc.
The other day I installed some programs, so I 'defrosted' the partition of Windows. Meanwhile, Windows decided to update.
When I finished installing the program I turned off the PC with the command to return to frozen, and that's where the problem starts.I had the bad luck that one of the Windows updates was one of those that continues after shutting down and restarting; this is sometimes not known beforehand. As I froze the partition again, the PC has entered a kind of endless loop where it tries to finish the update, restarts, and starts over.
I have tried to go back to a previous restore point but it gives me an error.
From the console (MSDOS) I can't do anything eitherIn short, I have no access to the computer
I ask for your help to see if anyone can figure out how to access Windows or at least inhibit the freezing so that I can then access it.
The only thing I can think of for now is to access the hard drive from another computer and delete as best I can the Deepfreeze files, to see if it gives an error when booting the drivers but continues. But I have also read in the forums that this does not work because the registry would also have to be cleaned
Because if not I would have to reinstall everything.
I hope someone can help me
regards and thanks in advance

My first idea was that it would have to be deleted from DOS, so I searched around, and of everything I found I'm left with this uninstall or undo deep freeze?? - Foros ZackYFileS
I hope it helps you. -
That may be the simplest solution. Find the files that make DeepFreeze work, delete them from ms-dos with a simple RM and then reboot. As long as vital DLL components or similar from DeepFreeze are missing, it will not be able to run normally.
