Power supply connector problem
-
Hello guys, I'm new here :ugly: I have a problem that has me a bit worried, let's see, I recently built a PC and I put a Corsair RM1000 power supply in it, everything was fine until now.
A while ago I started to get more interested in modding and seeing the nice look of sleeved cables, I decided to install them, so I bought a Corsair cable kit and a separate Corsair 24-pin cable because they sell it separately.
The 24-pin connector on the power supply splits into 10+14 and when I wanted to install the new sleeved cable, it turns out that it doesn't fit at all :nono: because it has 10+18 pins, I would like to know if there is any way to adapt it to the power supply I have, any adapter or something, or maybe by removing the cables and changing some part?
And if there is no way, then sleeving the power supply cables by hand, what lengths and widths are recommended for the paracord and heat shrink tubing?
Thanks in advance
;D
