Battlefield for Linux?

Reading the title might have made some people chuckle, but that statement stops being an impossibility and becomes something better: a remote possibility.
In this interview with the creative director of DICE, you can read interesting statements such as that Linux would only need a "revelation" game to become popular, just like what happened to the Xbox with Halo. He also states that the studio has a real desire to enter the world of Linux and that all the moves Valve has been making with its SteamBox and SteamOs can pave the way for selling games in a new and perhaps better way.

Well it wouldn't be strange that Mantle had implementation in Linux because the SteamBox will also be sold with AMD GPUs, which could force it to invest resources in its software for Linux if it doesn't want to be left behind by nVidia (and it's currently very far behind) :rollani:
