Problems with Windows 7 to search on network drives

I am having problems in a company to make the Windows 7 search work correctly on network drives that point to a server with Windows 2003 server. In this client, if I go into the network drive and put a search term in the upper right corner, most of the time it does not return any results. It happens with Windows 7 Pro clients in the domain and with other Windows 7 Home Premium in the workgroup.

I have tried it in my company and it works perfectly for me, and the conditions are similar (same type of network, Windows 2003 Server and Windows 2007 Pro).

I have read that Windows 7 does not index network drives and it could be because of that, but then I do not understand why it works in my company. I have also tried to create a library that includes the network drives and I can not get anything either.
