Help memory + overclock
-
good morning.
i have a mother asrock z77 extreme 4m + i7 3770k (oc to 4.5 24/7 stable) i have 4gb mem ram gskill ripjaws 2000mhz (dual chanel) + ssd ocz agility3 240gb + a gigabyte r7970.
–---------------------------------
i never gave importance to oc the memory or the bottleneck that implies the mem.now that i have achieved the oc of this mother i am getting into this, could you give me a hand.
1- what benefits does overclocking the memory bring me??? is stable at 2000 enough???? how would i overclock these mems???
2- with 4 gb of memory does it make a bottleneck??? how do i know if it does there is any program?
3- i use the pac to watch movies and play, is it truly necessary to have more than 4 gb of memory???? and does it make a big difference in speed between 1600mhz mems or the 2000mhz ones.
i hope for your help thank you very much.

hello and welcome, the first thing is not written in capital letters, please read the rules
the difference in performance in speed and memory times in current computers is minimal
in integrated graphics you can notice the performance but in the computer in general almost nothing
whether you have memory at 2000 or 2100 for example, you don't notice the difference, that's why it's not worth it
neither the expense nor the risk of doing O.C. to the memory, that only serves for the benchmarks to gain a little more
performance but for daily use it's not worth it.
having 4 GB today is something just but enough, 8GB is ideal, and it's always better to have two modules than fourregards

BUENOS DIAS.
TENGO UN MOTHER ASROCK Z77 XTREME 4M + I7 3770K (OC A 4.5 24/7 STABLE) TENGO 4GB MEM RAM GSKILL RIPJAWS 2000MHZ (dual chanel) + SSD OCZ AGILITY3 240GB + UNA GIGABYTE R7970.
–---------------------------------

Thank you very much, apologies for the capital letters (it's the first time I'm starting to take advice from a forum that's why I'm new at this).
I managed to get a laptop on the internet that has the same memory as mine and I'm going to buy them. if I can put 8 GB of RAM in 4 of 2, does it make a difference in performance at 2000??? that is, does it use dual channel??? I'm going to make another topic because I reached OC my system to 4.7 and I wanted to ask other things.
thanks again. -
Many thanks, sorry for the capital letters (it's the first time I'm starting to take advice from a forum so that's why I'm new at this).

thanks again.Of course it works the dual channel, with 4 modules it does the same dual channel, maybe it's 1 and 3 and 2 and 4 that's according to the motherboard, if they are different modules then you have to put the same ones in the dual channel slots, if they are all the same modules then it's not necessary it just sets itself.
