New PC
-
Hello, I am going to buy several pieces of a new pc and I have a little money left over to improve some of the pieces. The configuration I have in mind is this:Asrock Z87 Pro4
Intel Core i5-4670k 3.4Ghz Box Socket 1150
G.Skill Ares DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 8GB 2x4GB CL9
SSD Samsung 840 pro 256 Gb
My question is as follows: if I have 150 euros left over, what do you recommend:
improving the cpu to an i7-4770k, or the RAM to one of these two 16GB G.Skill DDR3 PC3-14900 1866MHz TridentX Series CL8 (8-9-9-24) or 16GB G.Skill DDR3 PC3-19200 2400MHz Trident X Series CL10 (10-12-12-31) considering that the price of the ram is the same in the store I have looked at, but I don't know which one is better. Thanks for your answer in advance.

Do you have a case, power supply and graphics card? In principle, you should put those 150 into a GPU, even scrape the rest of the comments if it gets you a R280X. Samsung EVO 250GB, 2x4GB 1333, Z77 Pro and 3570K or even 3470 are budget options. It would be good to be able to afford a K + decent motherboard but I already told you, what you will notice the most is spending a lot of money on a GPU.
Comment on prices, store and if you need a hard drive for data. I assume you know that a K is worth it if you are going to put it above 4GHz.

Yes, depending on the graphics card you have, changing it is what you will notice the most. -
torre I have a pretty big Lian-li, power supply I have 700W, heatsink Thermalright Silver Arrow SB-E Extreme Dual Fan Universal CPU and graphics I have an Nvidia 460gtx,, I've been looking and surely what I will do is buy the MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 OC 2GB GDDR5 2DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort PCI-Express Video Card N760 TF 2GD5/OC which may not perform as well as the one you suggest but I've always been an Nvidia fan and I have the 3D Vision thing, which I use. would this graphics card be a good option?

The 760 is between 270X and 280X, by little more I think the 280X is better as it is fighting with the 770 and has an extra 1GB of vRAM. With ATI you also have 3D, if you lose lightboost if you have 3D Vision 2, which is just turning up the brightness :ugly: And you would have to enable 3D in some games by touching registry files.
