Hello everyone, it's a pleasure to be here again. I read you from time to time but I haven't actively participated for years. I hope life treats you all well (within the crappy circumstances we have to live with).

To the point, I gave my old PC to my little brother for his birthday as an excuse to get a new one :ugly: and I wanted a more expert opinion on the matter.

Maximum budget= 500 euros. If it's less, even better since things are very bad.

PC usage? I would mainly use the PC for office work, YouTube, series, movies, and websites. I also edit music at an amateur level (Cubase SX, Amplitube, etc.) and occasionally I would like to be able to play games like Batman Arkham City, Battlefield 3, FIFA 14, etc. They don't have to be at full capacity with all the filters, but with decent quality.

Preferences= I want a decent case like the Cool Master K380, with good materials that will serve me for the future, and I also want a good power supply (active PFC, plus bronze, etc.) to ensure the balance of all components. I have the keyboard, mouse, and other components, I just need a tower.

      **Monitor=**Benq G922HDL with a resolution of 1366x768, so I wouldn't need to spend a fortune on a hyper-powerful graphics card.

I don't care if it's AMD or Intel, whatever is more economical (although from what I'm reading, Intel is ahead in almost everything lately).

      Thank you very much!!!

Hello Ferelxyx, I've been looking through the guide you've put together (great work, by the way) and I'm still not quite sure about the configurations according to my budget. Taking 50% of the guide and 50% of my personal criteria, I've put together two configurations for you to take a look at. Both are under 500 euros.

          AMD Option:

          AMD FX Series FX-6300 3.5Ghz 6X 99 €
          Asrock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 75 €
          G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 4GB2x2GB CL7 40,95 €
          Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB SATA3 53,95 €
          Cooler Master K380 USB 3.0 37 €
          Corsair Cx600m 600w 80 Plus Bronze Modular 69 €
          Gigabyte Radeon HD 7770 OC 1GB GDDR5 92 €
          Samsung SH-224DB DVD Burner 24x OEM Black 16 €

          TOTAL 482.95 €

          Intel Option:

          Intel Core i5-3330 3.0Ghz Box 147 €
          Gigabyte GA-H77M-D3H 74 €
          G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 4GB2x2GB CL7 40,95 €
          Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB SATA3 54 €
          Cooler Master K380 USB 3.0 37 €
          Tacens Valeo V 700W 80 Plus Silver Modular 60 €
          MSI Radeon HD 7750 1GB GDDR5 69 €
          Samsung SH-224DB DVD Burner 24x OEM 16 €

          Total=497,80 €

At first glance, the AMD has a more powerful graphics card and the B option has a more efficient processor that is supposedly superior to AMD.

I'm not quite sure about the power supply, the Tacens I put in for the price seems great but I'm not sure if it's a scam. The other option is a Corsair but I understand that these ranges are quite economical, they have nothing to do with the real ones.

I look forward to your feedback.

Thanks for the answers. I have a few questions in the quote.

              @Obione:

              Xtremmedia:

3470 (Is the difference very big compared to the I5 3330?)
Z75 Pro3 (I can't find it on pccompo. this motherboard, can you tell me another option in this store)
CX500 (Won't this power supply be insufficient for me in the future?)
K280 (I don't like the case, I think it only comes with one fan, for a little more I have the Nox Coolbay Sx Usb 3.0 that already comes with two)
Hyper 212 EVO (I don't plan to overclock, is it absolutely necessary?)
              7200.14 1TB ok
2x2GB RAM and 7770 the cheapest they have ok

If you go a little over don't worry, it's worth it.

              regards!!

CPU: At pccomponentes it's worth it, at Xtremmedia you save a bit more with that 3330

Motherboard: You have it at Xtremmedia, check the prices there, buying at one or the other is the same. If you opt for pccomponentes the Z77 Pro3 will allow you to scrape a few MHz, spending a little more on the motherboard you get a better micro than a 3570. In terms of performance it pays off and that slight boost isn't even noticed by the team

Power supply: Yes, it may be insufficient, go for a Seasonic S12II 620 if you can afford it. As you know, the 2TB hard drive has the best price/mega, the Z77 will give you a slight increase in frequencies, you can have a slightly better graphics card for a little more... It's easy to go over budget and in the end you try to scrape somewhere

Case: Yes, the SX is worth it, it's a great tower for its price, I would change the side cover and move the front down to cool the graphics better, the filter is quite easy to remove.

Cooler: If you value silence go for the 212 EVO, I would recommend getting this Cooler Master and overclocking the 3330 if you buy at Xtremmedia or better the 3470, especially if you buy at pccomponentes. If you're not a fan of noise you can look at a TX3, even more so if you're not looking for OC (you could save a few euros with a B75 Pro) but, you don't save much. The stock cooler is really bad, I would only leave it for things like office work. Also think that a tower cooler not only improves the temperatures of the micro, it also helps to get the heat out of the case faster.

Well, following your instructions Obione, the budget I have set up is this:

                  http://xtremmedia.com/?q=cconfig/view#A001299,A012522,A003640,A012629,A011628,A009780,A012397,A017098,A001640

Please, opinions please. If you think something needs to be modified or you would add another component, tell me.

                  Thanks!!

for that money you can't have everything and decent, it's clear

later you can put any graphics from the 7000 series of amd and do crossfirex

                    AMD A10-6800K 4.10Ghz - Processor - 120 euros approx -has a graphics - 8670
                    AsRock FM2A88X Extreme4+ - Motherboard - 69 euros approx
                    G.Skill Sniper DDR3 1866 PC3-14900 8GB 2x4GB CL9 - DDR3 Memory - 70 euros approx
                    Scythe Katana 4 - Fan/Cooler - 25 euros approx
                    Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB SATA3 - Hard Drive 54 euros approx
Nox Urano VX 650W - Power Supply - 40 euros approx
                    NOX Coolbay SX USB 3.0 - Case/Tower - 40 euros approx

                    Total = 420 euros approx

Hello, Ferelxyx thanks for your response but that configuration does not convince me. I prefer to put a dedicated graphics card separately. I am considering something like this:
