XBOX ONE, PS4 AND PC..I already have all the platforms, high thoughts.

Hello everyone.
Much to people's surprise, I do like consoles...or better said, games. Especially exclusives, and despite the fact that for about two years, with very few exceptions like Gears of War 3 or The Last of Us, I haven't used them again because the graphics were already a huge burden, I've decided to make the leap to the new "gen" to see if those graphic prejudices were blurred and allowed me to enjoy myself again.
Starting from the widely discussed base that they have already been technologically outdated compared to high-end PCs, and we're not talking about mine, with a TITAN 4 Way in a 30" Dell or in 3 surround monitors, let's see what my first impressions have been.
XBOX ONE:
A behemoth at first glance, but it makes sense, I'll talk about it later.
Its menu is very reminiscent of the 360, its controller is a bloody joy... you can tell the bestiality of $100 million spent on R&D just for it... and eternal installations, which one would have to know if they are due to all the tested games coming with the update included or if they will be the synonym that awaits us in the life of this console every time we install a game and there's no update.
It's absolutely inaudible, it doesn't heat up at all, and it has the inconvenience, a very important one, that it can't be put vertically.
Games:
Forza 5:
Honestly impressive... even comparing a good racing game on a good PC.. native 1080p and stable 60 fps like a rock despite having 16 cars or more on screen. A clarity worthy of the new generation as well as the textures of the road and some car models that are breathtaking.
The implementation with the new controller is absolutely masterful, the triggers seem to have a life of their own, braking and acceleration are no longer synchronous in the engines. Each one has its own and with different intensity.
A game that honestly if it deserves to be called next gen. The only problem is the clear absence of AA, which makes there be quite a bit of jaggies on screen. But I prefer that to not sacrifice 1080p and 60 fps.
Ryse.
Crytek.. not much more to say.. brute force but with an optimization that leaves much to be desired.
It's a demo game, it's really very impressive that they managed to put the cryengine on that console, and with so many effects, models, and artistically it's a 10. But of course, this has, in my judgment, an important cost and one that isn't worth it. And it's a native resolution that doesn't reach 1080p and a frame rate that is absolutely unstable.
This is a game to put on a good PC, or perhaps, in a year with a lot of work, to have it out on the console. But it's evident that it had to come out as a standard in terms of graphics of the new generation. And while it is, it's undoubtedly the best game technically speaking that has ever come out on a console, as I say the sacrifices in frame rate and resolution that had to be made I don't think are worth it.
It must be absolutely primordial at least that all games go to a native resolution of 1080p and a frame rate that, while it can't be 60 fps, is at least stable at 30.
PS4:
A console more powerful than the XBOX One, although not by much, at least in specifications, with a design much more innovative and attractive, but which falls short precisely because of it in an excessive working temperature and at the same time noise to be able to maintain that excess of temps.
It gives the impression that at Sony they knew what the XBOX One was going to be... a built-in wardrobe. And that logically they wanted to bring out something much more attractive and manageable, but it's clear that something has gone wrong.
These consoles are already PCs, and therefore their demand for energy and cooling begins to clash with the design. I think that Microsoft, despite having sinned in design, has done a more practical and reasonable job by giving the console the appearance of an HTPC, which is what it is, to have everything controlled and Sony hasn't.
I'm sure there will be many more updates for this console to fix those small design flaws that it seems to have and that also affect its integrity. Touching the back with your hands, where the HDMI is, is dangerous. Literally, it's burning.
It can be put vertically but only with a stand that is sold separately because it includes cooling, which if we don't do it without it, we will be taking ventilation away from the console and that doesn't do it any good.
The menu is another copy of PS3, easier to handle than the XBOX One, perhaps... although this will be linked to how familiar you are with one console brand or another.
The installations are lightning fast, although it's true that for now, the console itself updates over the Internet and invalidates the game update, which is older, and doesn't install the game all at once. Instead, it installs as you play. This has a good part and a bad.The good is that you start playing infinitely faster than on XBOX one.La bad is that you notice that pull when it has to install again although it doesn't interrupt the game at all.
The controller is a point flaco.Es the same as the dualshock of always, but less intuitive because they have changed the buttons and put an analog screen with good criteria but bad tacto.Se can plug headphones directly into it, but it's very far from the One's.
Killzone: Shadow Fall.
The game is a mix of sensations... on one hand we have native 1080p and 30 fps stable in campaign. 60 in multiplayer but removing graphical quality. Which makes sense and is appreciated.
We have some effects and some lighting worthy of a current PC. But on the other hand we have a continuous blur on screen, especially in open phases, which betrays that they weren't even able to give depth of field to the game, something fundamental in FPS, and an abuse of blur filters and I would even dare to say MLAA, to perhaps hide textures that in full HD would be too noticeable.
It has really beautiful parts, but that lack of clarity that for example is so noticeable in Forza 5, in my opinion, takes away many points.
I expected more from the console and more from the game. Honestly, I think the XBOX One is better right now than the PS4 despite it should be the other way around.
The multiplatform ones, BF4, COD, Assassins etc. Obviously I don't have them nor do I comment because I play them on the PC.
As an anecdote, although not comparable, to say that after playing Kilzone I put COD ghost on PC, which I don't think is exactly Crysis 4, and it seemed like there were 3 generations of difference in favor of the PC... it's not fair nor comparable. But I think that obviously, this didn't happen with the release of the previous generation that could even be compared to high-end PCs.
Anyway, I hope not to hurt anyone's feelings or create controversy. I've just written this as mere technical information because in terms of gameplay, it's a matter of taste... for me Forza is God, and the others are a pain...
Greetings to all.

Well, I saw Forza 5 on video and it looks very good, especially the car modeling and the interior, but it's not a good sign that new consoles already have games that are not 1080p, I think it should already be mandatory to have games at 1080p and if they go to 60fps much better.
For now, none of them attract me, I will buy one when they are much cheaper, and I see games that interest me, the Play4 only has one exclusive and in the Xone I might be interested in the Halo when they release it, but now it's expensive and more if you buy a few games.
The most advisable thing is to wait to see what games are coming out and to see which one works better, with fewer problems and some review already without problems of temperature or failures, because many failures are seen especially in PS4.

I just saw the post, I got both consoles, Forza is a game I love, I'm trying Ryse and it doesn't look bad graphically, it's very good, a shame it doesn't let you record gameplays in HD or it doesn't let you or I can't do it, I really like the PS4, I have Knack and Killzone, it's pretty good but let's see if they come out with games like Metal Gear, Drive Club, etc... that's what I bought it for. -
It's too early to judge, we won't know what each one really gives until within a year. For now the engines are still not very well optimized, there are few games, few services and surely some defects will still come out; not to mention the redesigns, it is rumored that the ps4 is already in the beauty clinic...
