      Hello everyone

I intend to change my computer
I will not overclock (I don't know how to do it)
I think it's balanced to choose the H87 chipset, between office, video and gamer. A middle term
It will be for browsing, office, video, music and maybe someday I will play, but this last thing is not the most important
I am going to install an i5, I don't know exactly which one, maybe a 4670
I have in mind for the ATX format

      MSI H87-G43
      ASUS H87 PLUS
      GigaByte GA-H87-HD3

      Greetings

I always recommend ASRock as the first option, and then Gigabyte, but that MSI looks good.

        Best regards!

        Intel i5 3570k / ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 / G.Skill F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL / Sapphire HD5850 / Samsung HD103UJ / TR TrueSpirit / NZXT Source 210 / OCZ ZS550W
        Intel i5 4570 / ASRock H87 Pro 4 / 2x G.Skill F3-14900CL8-4GBXM / Samsung 850 EVO 250Gb + ST1000DM003 + ST2000DM003 + HGST HDS723020BLA642 + Maxtor 6V250F0 / CM Seidon 240M / Zalman MS800 / CM MWE 550

          Thanks for your answer

I don't know how, maybe they have advanced in technology and/or quality, but... a few years ago nobody wanted ASRock
Maybe I'm a little outdated with what's on the market today
Recommend me that brand and which model would be the equivalent, maybe:
          H87 Pro4.......................... 80€
          Fatal1ty H87 Performance..... 90€
And so that it has good cooling, I don't know how you see/see

          Greetings

Try to get an ASRock Z87 Pro4, and if not the H87 Pro4.

Between the Gigabyte and the MSI you put, I think I would opt for the MSI :sisi:, and it seems that I will have to take that brand into account again ?

Regarding cooling, it's almost better to leave the stock one until you can buy a decent heatsink (a Thermalright True Spirit or better), so as not to spend twice.

            Salu2!

              Thanks again for your reply

I already say that I won't do OC, so the H87 chip is more than enough for me
I don't know if it's a bit of an abuse in the thread, but I would like to fine-tune the issue a bit more and ask what memories would be good for it
I have thought about 2x4GB 1600Mhz to make dual channel, however in other forums I read that maybe a single 8GB module is better because of the temperature issue
If we take into account that I am not going to squeeze the machine to its capacity, we are talking about an i5 4670, I think I will be more than enough for what I usually move
I don't want to spend more than strictly necessary. That is to say, those gadgets of some series with endings like Hyper X, Super Blue, Maxi, etc... or similar names, I think it's practically just changing the name and the color of the chip
I think that any reliable brand is already reliable, or not?
              How about this for 60€?
              One module: G.Skill 8GB DDR3-1600MHz Latencias CL11 11-11-28
              That dual channel for 82€
              Two modules: Corsair XMS3, 8GB(2 x 4GB), DDR3-1600Mhz Latencias: CL11 11-11-30

              Regards

                @Verntallat:

in other forums I read that maybe better a single module of 8GB because of the temperature issue

Maybe in those forums they are experts in gardening because there is no way to grasp that statement

Buy 2x4GB or 2x8GB DDR3 1600 (PC3_12800) CL9 and better versions that are called "Low Voltage" that need a reasonable voltage (1,50/1,55V).
