Graphics Test Program or VIDEO
-
Hello everyone:
In other posts I've had problems with the graphics of my laptop, I would like to know if you know of any program to test the video card, I have never had the opportunity to use one but the other day I was messing around with the ultimate boot cd, and I came across a graphics or video testing option, in which the screen turned on a thousand colors and went through the entire spectrum to assess if there was any fault, and … well now I don't know which option it was or how that specific program is called.
I have also downloaded TessMark, but I have not tried it yet.
Let's say I need the best program to test the graphics and that tells me if it is good or bad, I have read that there are stress and diagnostic programs, you will say which one you think is the most complete.
Best regards.

Hello
We are back to the same thing, wasn't it the BIOS that was damaged?
If the laptop shows an image, it means you have already fixed the BIOS. The best graphics test for a computer is to use it, that is, to try games and videos in a daily way, giving it the use you would normally give it. This is how you can more easily check if it fails.Greetings

Hi Sylver, forgive me if I didn't explain myself well, I'm not talking about the same computer, I have several computers.
On one of them, it is indeed the bios that got damaged when updating it, I have already bought desoldering mesh, flux and everything needed to solder the bios chip, waiting for it to arrive. The laptop in question is an Acer Travelmate
In the case of the one I'm talking about in this post, it's about an HP Pavilion laptop, which the graphics seem to be going wrong, I don't want to talk about that now because I opened another thread for it in the corresponding section.
I mainly opened this thread in case someone has seen what I saw on the Ultimate Boot CD, it's a kind of graphics test that tests the color spectrum of the graphics.
Best regards.

To thoroughly test the graphics, forget about those Hiren's programs, which are designed for the era when only 2D was important. Now you need one that works on Windows. Take a look at some of the ones mentioned here:

The Sylver option is just as good, gaming, video playback, working with the computer...
Best regards.
