Overclock an Intel Dual Core E5300 2.60GHz

Hello, I would like to know if this processor can support a certain overclocking. Here is the link to the official Intel page:

Motherboard –> Imedia S3712

I have 6Gb of RAM.

Graphics Nvidia GeForce GT 610 (2MB)

The micro yes, some have even managed to overclock it to 4Ghz, but with that motherboard you won't be able to do anything.

As the fellow with that motherboard indicates, there's little you can do. From what I can see, it's a Packard Bell motherboard and it comes capped for Overclocking. A shame because it's a very nice micro with good overclocking capability and if it could go to 2.6 easily, I could put it at 3.2-3.4 minimum, but of course with a better motherboard and a good heatsink. So the best thing is to leave it as it is and in the future, when you can, change your equipment.

ps friend it's not possible through bios but if you do an overclock by vid mod and bsel to change from 200 to 266 with bridges on the processor maybe you can overclock that processor look for guides on bsel maybe they can help you and you know all that incurs a risk I just hope you know that salu2
