Personally, I would have no doubts in opting for a 4570 + H87 as you can see by the signature, but if the budget is really tight, I would stop buying some things to take advantage of parts I already have.

The HDD, to spend €50 on a TB, better let go of €72 for double the capacity, or use one you already have, and the case and additional heatsink would also save me.

The memory, some G.Skill that come out well priced and usually don't give problems (I avoid Geil).

With what you save by joining the brotherhood of the fist, you can try to reach a 280X ( €250 ), and you will have a great rig that you can improve in the future, all those aesthetic nonsense like the case :troll:

The old computer is a P4, with a 60GB hard drive ;D a classic piece of junk jajaja

And as for the platform's duration, it is assumed that AMD will not continue with the FX ranges, so these will be the last processors supported by AM3+ and in the future would have to change platform.

On the other hand, Intel's 1150 is supposed to last at least one more generation and could update the hardware.

I think I will go for Intel, if anyone feels like advising me a complete configuration, I would appreciate it, since in sources and motherboards there is a lot to choose from and in tight budgets the difference between choosing something of quality and something mediocre can be 20€.

Victor intel has had very clear cycles for a few years, a socket is good for one generation of processors and the next (which is of the same architecture but with a smaller manufacturing process), I tell you this about updating, in any case I think the computers last that long so you won't mind. AMD keeps the sockets more but the chipsets change and improve, not as often, but in 3 or 4 years you will want to change the whole system.

Well I think I'll go for intel if I can gather more money, and if not I'll go down to an fx6300, because I'm not very picky when it comes to gaming, but I feel like buying a good computer.

Well, you can also look at the FX-8320, which works very well and will be around €30 more than the 6300. It may be true that AMD doesn't release more processors for that platform, but as others have mentioned, Intel usually does the same thing more quickly. Whether you buy Intel or AMD, coming from a Pentium 4, it will seem like another world and you'll surely get years of use out of it.

I understand what you're saying, but when I make the budgets for Intel and AMD, the difference is only about €30 at most.

What I would like is if you have some time, could you adjust these budgets I'm giving you a bit:

For example, I'm not sure if I could save some money on the motherboards. I don't think so for AMD, because the fx8320 is overclockable, and if I have the possibility, sooner or later I'll overclock it.

On the other hand, Intel doesn't allow overclocking, but I'm not sure if choosing another board with an older chipset will perform the same as the H87.

I love the case, but I could save about €9 if I get the Cooler Master K280, which isn't a big deal, although by saving a little on each component, I can lower the budgets a bit.

I look forward to your final opinions, as I don't want to give this matter much more thought.
