well, while looking for other things on the internet, I came across this

it turns out that they sell both round and flat ones in different sizes ;D
for about 12 euros depending on who (this one is from carillo and I've seen others cheaper)
if I had found this years ago...
I hope you don't all start making heat sinks with heat pipes now ;D
