Hello, I built my PC in 2013 and I didn't have any problems until now.
When playing BT3, BT4, Watchdogs… my PC turns off after playing for 40 min. approx. And it restarts by itself at 2 min.
The temperatures are normal:
- Idle: CPU 23C GPU 30C
- Playing BT4: CPU 45C GPU 66-70C
The strange thing is that I had already played BT3, CRYSIS3, Witcher 2 a few months ago and I didn't have this problem.
I checked the GPU and I saw that the fans don't always work, they work when they want to. Could it be that the GPU turns off for safety because of the FAN? The temperatures are not high...

SAPPHIRE VAPOR-X 7950 3GB BOOST
Asus P8Z77 M-PRO
Hyper-X blu 16gb (2x8)
Coolmaster Silent Pro 600wSome people told me that the power supply is too tight for that card, is 600w too little for my PC?
I hope, you can help me, thank you

Welcome to the forum.
The power supply is sufficient for that configuration.
Sapphire's poor quality is evident again.
In fact, I would say that it turns off because (the GPU) reaches the maximum safe temperature.
If it turns off while simply being on the desktop or without running 3D applications, then it is a power problem, either of the GPU itself or of the power supply branch, but I doubt it.
Surprisingly, and even knowing that the fans are not working well, you turn on the computer and try to run applications such as the games you mentioned... is this a kind of study or bet to see how long it takes to burn out completely? :facepalm:This topic does not belong here.

I tried it because I put 2 auxiliary fans under the video card.
I tried the Furmark to test the card, and for an hour the card does not turn off... and it reaches higher temperatures than when playing...
I have seen people play with temperatures between 70-80 with the 7950

I would think about adding those auxiliary fans to the power supply, to help it dissipate heat, because I suspect it's the power supply that gives up due to temperature rather than the components.
Best regards!

Use GPUTemp to monitor the GPU temperature and check what the maximums are.
Go to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer and check after a reboot if you have any error messages that might give you more information.
That the fans don't always work means nothing, that depends on the graphics card profile, the important thing is that they spin when they are needed.
You can also install MSI Afterburner to check temperatures and the speed at which the fans spin.
You can even define new profiles to make them spin more constantly and thus make sure that the problem is with the graphics card. -
SOLVED. I decided to remove the power supply and check it out, and I found that a rubber grommet (the ones that were under the power supply to reduce noise and vibrations) was jamming the power supply fan. This caused it to overheat and shut down.
Thanks to everyone!
