Use two video cards (onboard + offboard on asrock extreme 4)
-
Hello dear,
I have a mother asrock extreme 4 and I wanted to know if the intel integrated card can be used at the same time as the external radeon it has.
It's that I have the two outputs of the radeon 7750 occupied, one with a monitor, the dvi, and the hdmi with an lcd. But I have an led that I want to connect using the hdmi of the motherboard, which corresponds to the intel card that the i5 has integrated.I look forward to your comments.
Regards.

Hello everyone,
I have an Asrock Extreme 4 motherboard and I wanted to know if I can use the integrated Intel graphics at the same time as the external Radeon.
The thing is that I have both outputs of the Radeon 7750 occupied, one with a monitor, the DVI, and the HDMI with an LCD. But I have an LED that I want to connect using the motherboard's HDMI, which corresponds to the Intel card that the i5 has integrated.I look forward to your comments.

Hello Marcelo, I haven't tried it but from my point of view you can't because when you connect a graphics card through the PCI-Express input, that is, whichever one, it deactivates the motherboard's onboard and only the one you connect works, but if you have the possibility of not spending money and trying it, give it a try.

I reply to you more or less the same thing that you were already told in another forum: check the manual for your motherboard, activate the integrated one so that they work integrated + discrete and have the drivers on hand. -
I have exactly the same motherboard, if that also checks the BIOS issue, to have it updated, so I looked in the BIOS, there is an option for the integrated (when you have the dedicated card placed) to be able to use, the outputs of the integrated, I tried it with my GTS250 but it didn't work, (I imagine that being DirectX10 and being old, but I suppose with the 7750, I don't think you will have problems, since it is DirectX 11.

you can't use both, the Intel micro and the external one in this case the radeon
if the internal one were radeon, you could, but with the Intel you can'tregards
