Hello fellow users!!!
I am interested in building a NAS in a 19" rack, my idea is an empty case for a microATX motherboard and for about two or three disks.
I have been looking on google and all I see is with the integrated board and it goes up to 400 euros or so.
Any suggestions? -
Do you have a rack furniture?

I think that most of us have been through this. I had the same idea and in the end it's cheaper to buy a normal NAS or build a PC and install FreeNAS.
If you go for 1U solutions it's going to be expensive, and if you want to put it in a rack, definitely go for a 2U or even 3U case that allows you to build a custom PC to your liking or budget and then add the drives you want.
For a home, a rack-mounted NAS is not cost-effective.

I have a homemade rack, I made it myself, with standard measurements!
I already have a "racked" PC, with some brackets, with a NAS "openmediaVault", it was to make it look more "professional"… thank you very much for your help!!!
