[Testing] Xeon x5660 - Socket 1366 6/12 threads Low-Cost
-
Well, that's it, I'm going to list 4 things that cost a low-cost Workstation machine with 12 threads :drinking:
1#.- The processor we're going to use is a Xeon X5660 2.8/3.20Ghz with 6/12 threads (like an i7 980/990 or 980x), it costs 108€ delivered to my home from Germany via eBay

2# Compatible with practically all x58 chipset motherboards Socket 1366
In this case, I'm using a Xeon x5660 2.8/3.13Ghz micro that cost me 132€ delivered to my home from eBay, the motherboard is one of the best on the market, a Gigabyte x58A.OC new and unused that I got for 60€ which is a real bargain
QPI 1.1v (AUTO)
QPI PLL 1.1v (AUTO)214x21

202x23

205x23

The best part is that I'm going with passive RL! xD

There's more

Well, I see that I also had the Cinebench 11.5 and wPrime screenshots with the 4770K at 4.7Ghz with overvoltage and passive RL cooling, it will be useful for a comparison
CineBench 11.5 4770k 4.7Ghz

wPrime 1024k 4770k 4.7Ghz

wPrime 1024k x5660 4.85Ghz

I have a little stand!

With passive radiator (no fans)
