Hello everyone:
I would like to purchase this controller that you have for mounting IDE disks. The thing is that I am going to put hard drives that are a few years old and that I have been recovering and using for various purposes. I would like to know if the hard drives need to meet any specific requirements to be used by this controller.
Thank you for reading me.

In principle you shouldn't have any problems, although the disks are UATA-100 or 66, there is backward compatibility and these cards don't need drivers, unless you want to set up a RAID.
I suppose you have already noticed that in that controller you can only mount two IDE disks, I would look for one for four disks and if you needed to set up some RAID they would always offer more performance.
