I conclude that my 2500k oceado will still give battle for a while longer to play :fuckyea: I can't remember when I bought it but it has been by far the hardware that I have amortized the most in my life

Much of that performance improvement is due to the increase in RAM speeds.

It is noticeable in any of the generations that increasing bandwidth improves performance or almost equals it.

It is true that in specific aspects an improvement in IPC is noticeable but it is the same architecture and until AMD pulls something out of the hat Intel is not going to change it.

Perhaps the replacement of DDR memory by other types such as the new HBM will be the next quality leap along with the new SSDs with 3D Xpoint chips.
