New motherboard H97M does not work
-
Hello I am assembling a new computer and I have the motherboard an asus H97M PLUS. I connect everything and it turns on but it does not display any image. I remove the sata hard drive and it turns on and I can enter the bios, and it recognizes the dvd drive. I reconnect the hard drive and with the asus driver cd in the drive a ms.dos program comes up, and I do not know how to use ms.dos, the motherboard is new well the whole computer is new except for the hard drive.
The hard drive is 500Gb and I have it in two partitions, one is formatted but the other partition has data
how can I install the motherboard drivers. thanks. -
If the second disk does not start up when connected, it may be that the boot order in the BIOS is incorrect and it looks for the operating system on the second disk

Hello Kernel1.0. No, I've already checked that. What I want to do is install my SSD, and I connect it, and the BIOS doesn't recognize it
the other disk, the old one, it does recognize it but won't let me install anything on it, after the BIOS comes up I get the MS-DOS
I already told you that the whole system is new, except for one old hard drive. What am I doing wrong. -
Check that the SATA configuration is set to AUTO and AHCI mode is enabled.
