Extreme MultiGPU performance with Zotac/HyperX/SeaSonic/GB
-
A few days ago I published tests using a Zotac GeForce GTX 980Ti AMP! Extreme graphics card, now it's time for SLI of two of these beasts.
All tests were performed using LN2 (liquid nitrogen) on both GPUs (Zotac GTX 980Ti AMP! Extreme) and on the processor (Intel Core i7 5960X).
The hardware used was:
- SeaSonic 1200W Platinum + SeaSonic 1250W Gold
- GB X99 Champion
- HyperX DDR4 Predator 4x4GB 3333MHz CL17
- Intel Core i7 5960X
- 2x Zotac GeForce GTX 980Ti AMP! Extreme
- HyperX SSD Fury 240GB
Results:
Catzilla 720P SLI = 81755 (World record in category 2x GTX 980Ti)

Catzilla 1440P SLI = 30633 (World record in category 2x GTX 980Ti)

3Dmark 2011 SLI = 41774 (2nd place in category 2x GTX 980Ti)
3Dmark Vantage Performance SLI = 103903 (2nd place in category 2x GTX 980Ti)
Unigine Heaven Xtreme Preset SLI = 8813.78 (2nd place in category 2x GTX 980Ti)

It's much better to show with results than to tell how good a piece of hardware can be, that's why I feel very satisfied with these results, since having the big limitation (the graphics' voltage blocked), excellent scores were achieved, all of them positioned at the top (including some world records).
All this was possible because the entire system was overclocked to the maximum, both the CPU, the GPUs and the HyperX Predator DDR4 RAM, which go up to 3200MHz CL11 or 3000MHz CL10, were configured to 3160MHz CL12 because the CPU's IMC (memory controller) can't support such high frequencies in the CORE and the IMC at the same time, however the results are excellent, all this hardware was powered efficiently and stably by two SeaSonic power supplies, one of 1200W and another of 1250W.
Greetings to all and thanks for reading/commenting.
