Multiple screen problem
-
Hello.
I have an nVidia geforce 210 graphics card with VGA and DVI outputs. I want to connect the computer to a TV and a monitor. When I connect to the monitor (via DVI) or the TV (via VGA) it works fine, but when I connect both the TV and the monitor at the same time, only the monitor is displayed and the TV is not displayed. Moreover, when I go to the Windows display settings and click the detect button, it does not detect the TV. Can someone tell me why this is happening and how to fix it? Thank you.

I'm not quite sure if the 210 supports dual monitor combining analog (VGA) and digital (DVI) signal.

It sounds like it only has one output, but it has two connectors for convenience, so the VGA is like having a DVI-VGA adapter to connect it. Come on, you can only use one. Salu2! -
I have put several 210 with two monitors without any problem
The only thing that comes to mind is:
A - faulty graphics or
B - poorly installed or corrupt driversHave you tried removing drivers and reinstalling them?
Best regards

It will be a matter of enabling the second monitor in the drivers

I confirm that the 210 supports two monitors, at work I have put several, always one by VGA and the other by DVI. Perhaps it is only a matter of configuration, from the NVIDIA control panel it is very simple.

Thanks for the help, the problem was the cable, I tried one that was 5 meters long and it worked perfectly. The one I have is 10 meters long and it must not be very good because the only way the HDMI would detect the screen with the VGA connected was to unplug and plug the cable back in on the TV side.
