Skylake 6700K on the rocks :)
-
I tested again on Skylake, now with a Core i7 6700K. It's worth noting that I delided both CPUs I've tested so far. Deliding consists of opening the CPU, separating the PCB from the IHS (the plate where the heatsink, water block, etc. rests) to replace the thermal paste with a better quality one, since the one that comes from the factory is usually quite bad. Although it's not a complicated process, it must be done with great care as we can damage the CPU.
The hardware that accompanied this i7 6700K was:
- Asus M8G
- SeaSonic 1200W Platinum
- HyperX Predator DDR4 2x4GB 3333MHz
- HyperX Savage SSD
CineBench R15

Unfortunately, I ran out of nitrogen to run GeekBench at full speed, so I had to run it at a lower frequency, but I will be getting more out of this new platform soon

Greetings and thanks for reading and commenting.

All I can think to say is… What a monstrosity!
I love seeing this kind of extreme OC, but I'm scared to see that vcore of 1.85 at 14 nanometers
