It is a completely free clone of Transport Tycoon Deluxe. It is available for the main operating systems and it must be said that its graphics, aesthetics and sounds are completely horrible.
But it is the game that has hooked me the most in a long time. It is tremendously addictive. It consists of creating the communication infrastructure of a region. You have to build roads, bus stations, train tracks, etc. You also have to buy the vehicles and tell them where to go.
It seems like a silly thing and when they told me about it I thought "bah, what a silly game" but for those who like the Sim City stuff, it is a highly recommended title.
It can be downloaded from its website.

My favorite game, without a doubt. And as a lover of games from years ago, its isometric view and pixelated graphics seem veryyyy beautiful to me. Without a doubt, a perfect game to play casually on these cold winter nights. R Tape loading error, 0:1 -
I've been following the project for a year or so, and the truth is that it's a very faithful alternative to the original (which I still have because there are things that haven't been reproduced well, such as the way we can impact cities or the management of AI, which in Open TTD has to be added as an addon (there are several to choose from), and not all of them are competent).
Personally, I wouldn't compare it to SimCity, since you don't manage cities, but Chris Sawyer really made a game that's worth taking your hat off to and that (thanks to projects like this) continues to delight many years later.
Sprites Powa!!! ;D
