Merorias 2x2GB plus 1x4GB

Hello
I have 2 DDR3 OCZ 1600 memory in dual channel, I was thinking of adding a 4 gig one with the same characteristics although from another brand, but I don't know if I would lose the dual channel by having 3 plugged in at once or if there would be some kind of conflict. -
It's a terrible idea... so what's the point of buying two 4Gb modules and selling those 2Gb modules on eBay... that's what I would do if I wanted to put 8Gb of RAM.
Well, if you buy a single module to expand, you're not only going to lose dual-channel, but the configuration could probably be unstable... if it even boots up.
Think about it, the motherboard, depending on the density of the modules and the SPD of the same, establishes (because it's programmed that way) some parameters of secondary timings that are different and although they don't substantially affect performance, they do affect stability and compatibility... we're talking about refresh times so that the data doesn't get corrupted and "things" that mixing different types of memory give a lot of headaches.
Among other things because RAM failures are difficult to detect.

Pues eso hare, me sonaba raro ponerlo asi pero por si acaso digo voy a preguntar, gracias por la informacion me has ahorrado muchos posibles quebraderos de cabeza.
