Windows 10 as a minimum requirement
-
As you all know, they are releasing many titles lately that, regardless of their theme or gameplay, require Windows 10 as their OS, sometimes even with the anniversary update.
I know that there are games that cannot be executed depending on the OS version, and I am reminded of old titles that detected a Windows NT version when trying to install them under XP and you were left wanting. My question is, how true is that?
They don't even release demo versions anymore so I can tinker with them, which is why I am asking here; because I suspect that, if I had a copy of one of those titles, I could install it without many problems on Windows 7 or 8.

On the one hand, there may be games that come out only for DX12 (W10), although for the moment I don't think that will happen.
On the other hand, there are small differences in the handling of user folders, which can screw up the issue of saving games, or even for the issue of online profile.
And on the other hand, surely you can find crappy games that put the W10 thing to seem more modern, although for real software requirements, they can run on Windows XP (DX9).
Salu2!
