Mother of dragons...

Yesterday I came across another one of those "project announcements" from AMD: A graphic based on Vega10 with 1 TB of VRAM.
I, who from 8 GB I start to put letters together and see blurry, I will just put the link to the news, not make jokes about why it is called that being from AMD, and let those who really want to get into technicalities, follow (or not) the discussion.
Its price is around what a Fiat Tipo and a Kia Venga cost, euro more or less. -
That tera is because it has an SSD integrated into the graphics, with direct access with a PCIE 3.0 x4 bus. The idea is to reduce latency and facilitate work such as earthquake simulation, gas extraction simulation, meteorology... To work with very large data sets, and to avoid having to pull communication buses with RAM and so on. It is for a very small market niche, it would make no sense for gaming. -
@kynes If I read something, it was similar to the Radeon ProSSG, but based on Vega 10.
Of course I suppose it will be for industrial use, in fact I think we will always wonder how the best game of the moment will run on one of those beasts.
