i3-7350K

Yes, gentlemen, it sounds like this: those from Mountain View are finalizing the release of this "little one" with capacity for OC for less than (maybe) 180 €.

What sense does it make to overclock a dual core?
Well, really, at first glance and for that price, none.
But the thing is that the next unlocked processor is the i5-7600K which comes outa motherboard80 € more expensive. So maybe, despite being a dual core boosted with HT and having a meager L2 of 4 MB (despite being an i3, let's go), the fact that you can tinker with this little one may turn it into the "surprise" of the infamous KabyLake...
Will this have something to do with the imminent release of AMD's Summit ridge?

They work very well for many things, there are games where 4 physical threads are used, but when one is saturated you can find a bargain Skylake that pulls more than a little older quads even without HT. Not to mention that with multipliers above the quads and BIOS modified for non-K OC, quite cool frequencies are reached.
