It was about time they broke with an era that ended a decade ago. Having something as demanding as a browser using a single thread is a sacrilege today. I hope they haven't abandoned servo with which you can render a single page using multiple threads. I have also read that memory consumption is kept low compared to other browsers. In this graph taken from Arstechnica you can see the comparison.

It seems that Firefox is catching up to Chrome in performance and it is clear that it beats it in resource consumption. Well done to Mozilla for not abandoning the browser.

I downloaded it yesterday and you can really tell the difference, especially in RAM usage.

Let's see if it arrives soon on Mint, I'm sure the little Celeron will be happy with these improvements.
