"Stuttering" in W10
-
Like so many other things that we all suspect, but until someone puts it in black and white, we don't take them for granted, it is confirmed that the "Creator's update" launched in April may have been the cause of performance issues in some games.
In particular, of "stuttering" that annoying defect in which the game loses fluidity and starts to run in fits and starts.
Perhaps the fact that it was not a widespread problem has allowed it not to stand out enough for this news to have been brought forward; but there it is.
The solution, pending whether it will really be such, will be included in the next update, namely the "Fall (fail) Creator's update".
Source. Not having a reliable OS is one of the worst things that can happen, as you would never know for sure if the performance failure is due to a poor configuration of the software environment, the hardware itself, or simply the title in question.
