Interesting article. Honestly, I have been thinking for a long time that many improvements could be achieved in all senses precisely by increasing the size of the elements involved. Being this problem a more and more noticeable reality, I dare to predict that indeed in a few years we will see this possibility materializing. And personally I would not mind that the equipment increased in size in general due to these particular changes, after all we know what performance implies (very large cooling systems, graphics cards much more voluminous than a few years ago...).
