Current chipsets with old processors

Hello. I am thinking about how to make the PC configurator in the proposed comparator and I have a question. For example, an LGA1151 motherboard with the Z370 chipset, is it compatible with an old 1151 processor like the i5-6600K?

No, the Z370 is only compatible with Coffee Lake, it is not backward compatible with Skylake or Kaby Lake despite being the same socket. For those you would need a Z270.
