Presentation and doubt about Full HD or IPS monitors

hello guys, I'm Fernan, I'm getting into the world of web design and I would like to buy a monitor to connect to my laptop. I want to buy it because right now my neck hurts a little if I spend many hours working with it.
I have found on amazon some monitors that are adjustable in height that are very good, but my doubt is about the issue of resolutions and the type of screen, I don't know if it will be better Full HD or IPS, and I also don't know which one you recommend for work. I am looking at screens of 24" and my budget is a maximum of 200€. Any suggestions?

What you are asking about are two different things. On the one hand, you indicate that you are thinking about a Full HD resolution and on the other, a monitor with an IPS screen technology. It is not a matter of choosing between Full HD or IPS since they are different things.
Let's go step by step.
Regarding screen technology, if you are dedicated to design (of any kind), IPS panels are the most recommended since they display colors more reliably. That does not mean that you do not have to calibrate the monitor to make sure that the colors you see on your screen are accurate.
If you wanted to play, the most recommended are screens with TN or VA technology, which are faster, but less accurate with color treatment. Therefore, go for IPS for design.
On the other hand, the resolution. Full HD indicates that it is 1920 x 1080 pixels, which is the current standard and for design, it is more than enough to get a good definition image.
Another different thing would be if you were dedicated to video or image editing (photography), where 4K resolutions are already becoming standard.
As prices are now, I would go for an IPS monitor with Full HD resolution. The quality 4K ones are still very expensive and the cheap ones offer very poor image quality since, even if they are 4K, they do not respect colorimetry very well.
But beware, as with everything, there are qualities of IPS and IPS...

I think I understand better, ips is the 'type of screen' and Full HD is talking about the'resolution'. IPS screens are a technology derived from LED since they need an LED backlight to carry the light to the panel, which then lets through the wave frequencies that form the colors depending on the electrical "stimulation" of each pixel or subpixel.
But don't just trust if it says LED screen since TN and VA technologies are also based on the same LED backlight principle, but the technology is different.
My advice is that you look at the exact specifications of the model that interests you on the manufacturer's website and make sure what type of panel it uses.In the example you give me, Dell offers very good quality screens, but that one is low-end. It offers good quality in its IPS (better than any TN or VA at that price) but it is not the best quality. You must be aware of this, since when you don't have the budget, you don't have it and that's it.
If possible, I recommend that you look for IPS panels in a price range above 200/250 euros. The qualitative leap is notable. But as I say, if you can't, there's nothing more to talk about.PD: There are no stupid questions, the stupid thing is to stay with the doubt.

The truth is that I believe that in principle, moving from working on one screen to two screens will already be a significant leap in my work.
