Windows 7 is going out with a bang

As we already know, last week Windows 7 stopped receiving support. The last update it received, KB4534310 from January 14th, came with a bug that causes some users to be unable to set a wallpaper and instead get a black screen.

I picture the last developer in the room having to release the update and thinking this doesn't work, screw it, hit enter, turn off the lights, walk out, and leave that room closed and abandoned forever.

Look, Windows XP was one of my favorite S.O.s... but Win 7 was the best for me, and with the 10 giving so much trouble forever, I think we're going to miss it a lot
