Audacious 4 available

The new major version of this sound player, initially aimed at Linux but with a Windows port, is now available. The changes are mainly in the management of playlists.

Nvidia's DLSS 2.0 presentation

The GPU developer has announced a new version of its AI system for graphics sampling. The idea is to render images at a smaller size and then use AI to reconstruct them into a higher-definition image. The process is done frame by frame.

Folding@Home is the world's fastest supercomputer

The distributed computing project running on BOINC has reached a processing power greater than the 7 most powerful supercomputers in the world combined. In total, 470 PetaFLOPS are being processed.

Two new critical Windows security flaws

The news wouldn't be particularly relevant if it weren't because it's the first day-zero flaw found since Windows 7 support ended. That means that as of today, users of the old version will be exposed to security issues.

HPE SSDs stop working at 40,000 hours

HP's Enterprise branch has announced that some of their drives will stop working after 40,000 hours of activity, which is 4 and a half years of uninterrupted operation.

Game Ready Driver 445.75

Nvidia's new graphics driver comes with performance improvements for Half-Life: Alyx, Resident Evil 3, Ghost Recon Breakpoints Ghost Experience. Additionally, DLSS 2.0 support has been added to MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries.

It seems that someone has managed to bypass developer security and steal some files related to their intellectual property. According to other sites, the information that was stolen is quite irrelevant.
