DDR4 vs DDR5
With the first kits already in stores, DDR5 has begun its journey. Micron has published a document detailing how performance has been increased compared to DDR4. They comment that it has not been necessary to use differential signals on the DQ terminals to increase the frequency and that the noise has been corrected, among other things with a duty cycle adjuster (DCA) to reduce the distortions that naturally occur when signals travel through the PCB.
Audacity could collect audio without permission
According to the new privacy policy of the popular audio editor (which has recently changed hands), the program could collect audio if the authorities require it.
The price of graphics cards is starting to drop
The semiconductor market is beginning to return to normal although there is still a strong imbalance between supply and demand. In the case of GPUs, prices are currently at 150% of the manufacturer's recommended price, compared to 200-300% a month and a half ago.

A new open-source graphics engine
O3DE joins the short list of open-source graphics engines of significant impact. At the moment, the most advanced option is Unreal Engine. Now the cake will have to be shared between these two options.
