Ryzen 9 5900X
xavib has brought us a Ryzen 9 5900X. It is a CPU powered by 12 Zen 3 cores with SMT and no less than 64MB of L3 cache, which puts it in first place in the memory test and sixth place in the overall ranking.
Intel announces the availability of its new generation
The high-end Alder Lake will be released on November 4. They will come with support for DDR5 and between 10 and 16 cores, although half of them will not have HT.
A new Raspberry appears
The Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W will come with the Broadcom BCM2710A1 (the same as the RPi 3) at 1GHz, 512MB of RAM, Wifi 11b/g/n, USB 2.0, and Mini HDMI port. Its price will be around €15.
An operating system written in Rust
Someone has created a Linux-like operating system completely written in Rust. From the project page, you can remotely access an instance to try it out.
