Nvidia has presented Grace, a processor with 144 Arm v9 cores that they say surpasses AMD's EPYC Rome by 50% in performance.
Intel presents a new power supply standard
Intel has presented ATX 3.0, a new standard for power supplies that aims to replace ATX 2.0 which appeared in 2003. The new version will coexist with the ATX12VO 2.0 specification.
Firefox now has AV1 acceleration
Hardware acceleration for AV1 will come with Firefox 100. It will require an RTX 30 or Radeon RX 6000 and Windows 10 1909, which meets 2% of the computer park that uses Mozilla's browser.
Gnome 42 available
Version 42 of Gnome comes with a new option that enables dark mode in all programs that have that color scheme. It also brings improvements in screenshots and minor changes in the apps of the environment.
